You have a lot of ripe apples or rhubarb left and are not able to eat them in due time? No problem!
Why not create some delicious purée? You can perfectly combine it with your porridge or millet gruel for breakfast or enjoy the rhubarb puréee in the evening as low-carb dessert (without strawberries and sugar of course).
Here is my recipe for sugar-free but even so sweet apple and rhubarb purée for you:
– Heat 800 g of peeled apple with 2 dl of water and let it cook for 15 min, then purée and add some fresh lemon juice together with a little cinnamon & vanilla
– Heat 800 g of rhubarb with 4 dl of water and let it cook for 15 min, it will automatically become purée. If you like, add some ripe strawberries that makes your purée a little sweeter
There is no need to waste food! Simply enjoy it!
